 A shop was establishes in Lavarudden in the town of Väståboland on Norrskata Island in the 1930s. This business closed down at the end of the 1990s, and the building was left empty until the present owners purchased the property in 2008 for conversion into a hotel and restaurant. After numerous delays and problems this conversion could finally get started, and the restaurant was opened - although partially unfinished - at Sommer 2010.

 

The old Lavar shop - Lavarboden - was reborn as THE LAVAR PAVILION !
